For many, Fat Andy's Burgers is an essential stop during a summer beach trip. The sight of the restaurant's red posts signals that you're nearing the stunning sands of the Oak Island coast. It's a convenient spot for a quick lunch before crossing the bridge to Oak Island for a weeklong stay, located on the right side of the road to avoid crossing traffic on a typically busy summer Saturday highway.

Parking:
The gravel parking lot has one handicap sign labeled spot right in front of the ordering window. Otherwise, parking may be limited during busy times.
Entry:
Being a grab-and-go type of burger spot, there is no "real" entry. There are however, 3 stairs with one rail to go up to the window where your order is placed.
Seating:
Fat Andy's offers limited seating on a raised platform with slide in tables. The sitting area offers great views of planes coming into the OKI Airport!

Restroom Facilities:
None
Menu Highlights:
Fat Andy's does what it does best by keeping it simple. Fresh cut fries with 100% Ground Chuck Handmade Burgers!

Key Features for Accessibility:
Labeled handicap parking spot located right in front of the building.
Food is packaged "To Go" to allow you to enjoy it wherever is best for you!
Important Notes on Accessibility:
Stairs are required to step onto the front porch to order, but the staff is very friendly and accommodating. While we were there, we observed them take an order from the car and deliver it as well!
Fat Andy's has a newer location in Boiling Spring Lakes, located in the Amoco Convenience Store. This location may provide easier access.
