We know this isn't a restaurant, but we couldn't let Fruit Cake Day pass without showcasing this incredible gem!
Southern Supreme, situated in Bear Creek, NC, is essential to numerous holiday celebrations. Even if you believe you're not fond of fruit cake, reconsider. Southern Supreme's Fruit Cake is sure to turn anyone into a fan of this holiday classic.
Southern Supreme has been highlighted in various publications and articles, such as a feature in "Our State" magazine, making the store a special attraction during this season. While November and December are particularly bustling, Southern Supreme welcomes visitors all year round, Monday through Saturday from 9am to 5pm!
Parking:
Approaching Southern Supreme on Hoyt Scott Road, you'll find the showroom on the right, with the parking area located just beyond the building. The parking lot is paved and includes several designated handicap accessible spaces along the left side of the building.
Entry:
The entrance to Southern Supreme is level, providing a smooth transition from the parking lot to the showroom. Usually, a member of the Southern Supreme team will welcome you and assist with any inquiries or concerns you may have.
Seating:
As this is not a restaurant, seating options are limited, but available. There are only a few bench-style seats available along the walls of the entryway.
Restroom Facilities:
The restrooms at Southern Supremes are situated in the far right corner of the store. They are relatively small but do include one designated handicap accessible stall. Nonetheless, due to its limited size, the stall may not fit all mobility devices.
Menu Highlights:
Even though they are not a restaurant, they do provide samples of some of their delights. Try a sample and choose which treats to bring home!
We personally love the fruit cake and the cheese florets!
